Great Dane pups usually start eating mashed food at three weeks,
this helps to supplement Mom when she has a large litter.
Their food will be mashed for apx. one week, until all the pups can
handle chewing dry bite sized dog food.

The Pups are 4 wks old now and have graduated to the outside weaning house. Here Mom teaches them to go outside to go to the bathroom by bringing them out to feed them. By the time they are six weeks old they have no accidents in the weaning house. It makes people house-breaking easier. They have plenty of room to roam & play outdoors, which helps them to grow into big healthy puppies. They are eating dry food now.

They have a large yard to play in which helps them develop strength.
At five weeks they are exploring and expanding their comfort zones,
as they get farther away from the weaning house each day to play.
