Lease
 

We are located 5 miles from downtown of Medina City, 2.5 miles down a dead-end road from hwy 16.  We are on apx. 125 (79 hunting area) acres of mountainous land with beautiful views, surrounded by very large undeveloped ranches. A year round, live spring water, creek runs through the front of the property.  It is not in the hunting area but does help to bring  wildlife onto the ranch.

This ranch was once apart of the "Autry ranch" ... Gene Autry's family.  The ranch is also known to have been inhabited by Indians in the past.  There is a Indian mound on the property that was almost destroyed years ago. Many have found arrowheads on their hikes through the property.

The town of Bandera is 15 minutes away and Kerrville is 30 minutes away,  for restaurants, shopping, golf, dancing, western entertainment and more.

You may find white tail, axis, blackbuck antelope, sika, feral hogs, coyotes, mountain lions and more in this area. Feeders are run year round. There are no livestock in the hunting lease area. The Medina river is down the road, for fishing or swimming if desired. The birds are for bird watchers here, no bird hunting is allowed. 

We offer a seasonal Deer Lease for three guns. Family members may hunt free under a contracted gun, provided only the contracted limit of game is killed for that gun.  The 2009 – 2010 Lease is taken.  The Current Lessee has first rights to Lease again next season.  We also offer an "off season" hog hunt.

Lodging is included with the White Tail deer lease pkg.  Off season hog hunts will have the option to lease the apartment or tent camp in one of the designated camping areas throughout the hunting area.  See Rates for more information.
